Dr. M. Moreno
Dr. Moreno earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) in 1977, as well as a Master of Science degree in 1979. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 1983. Dr. Moreno has practiced as a veterinarian in Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi. His special interest in veterinary medicine is diagnostic ultrasound.
Dr. Moreno’s post-graduate work at USM included ‘Embryology of Cyprinidon Variegatus’ which was published in the Mississippi Academy of Sciences Journal. His post-graduate work at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine was ‘Economic Impacts of Endotoxins and Monocystis Lumbrici on Commercial Earthworm Production.’ Additionally, he gained experience in histopathology as a histopath technician at Puckett Pathology laboratory. Dr. Moreno’s affiliations with professional organizations include the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Moreno is married to Cathy who is a retired respiratory therapist. When he is away from the clinic, Dr. Moreno enjoys boating, fishing, and photography, and he loves to travel.
